Tropic Plastics & Packaging Partners with Human AID SA to Support GBV Survivors

Tropic Plastics & Packaging is proud to have partnered with Human AID SA, led by founder Ahmed Osman, to donate a purpose-built park home to Wentworth Police Station. The facility provides a safe, private and supportive space where survivors of gender-based violence (GBV) can access counselling and essential support services.

The facility was officially opened by Deputy Minister of Public Works and Infrastructure Sihle Zikalala, alongside KwaZulu-Natal Premier Thamsanqa Ntuli, and forms part of a growing national network of facilities dedicated to supporting victims of gender-based violence.

Every day, women and children are affected by gender-based violence, making access to safe and confidential support spaces critically important. This dedicated facility has been created to ensure survivors can seek help in an environment that respects their dignity, privacy and wellbeing.
